Hollywood actress Gong Li had just been officially given a Singaporean citizenship.
The Straits Times reported that the 43-year-old Gong -- star of "Memoirs of a Geisha" and "Farewell My Concubine" -- collected her Singapore citizenship certificate on Saturday(8th of October 08), along with 149 other new citizens.
In 1996, she married a local tobacco tycoon Ooi Hoe Seong and her decision in becoming a Singaporean according to a HK paper ,is that she's unhappy with her stay in Hong Kong and decided to make Singapore her 2nd home.
